Plans and billing

dRPC charges for usage in Compute Units (CU). 1M CU costs $0.30 on every plan. Plans differ in how many CU each request uses, so the price per request is lower on Pro and Scale.

The included CU are one shared pool: you can spend them on Multi-Chain and Solana in any mix. Rate limits are set in CU per second. Heavier methods use more CU, so the request rate for them is lower.

How requests use CU#

Pay as You GoProScale

WebSocket subscriptions and notifications use the same CU as a regular request on your plan. Batch calls count each request inside the batch (5 batched = 5 requests). See Compute units for the full method list.

Billing cycle#

Plans are paid from your dRPC balance and renew on the 1st of each month.

  • First month is prorated. You pay and get CU only for the days left until the 1st. Example: Pro bought on October 19 costs ~$21 and includes ~69M CU for October 19–31.
  • From the 1st, the full cycle. On November 1 the plan renews for $49 with the full 163M CU, and the same on the 1st of every next month.
  • Unused CU don't carry over. The pool resets on the 1st.

When your plan's CU run out#

Your requests keep working. Usage beyond the pool is charged from your balance: 20 CU per Multi-Chain request ($6 per 1M) and 13 CU per Solana request ($3.9 per 1M).

Example: on Pro you use the whole pool by October 25 and make 2M more Multi-Chain requests by the end of the month. 2M × $6 per 1M = $12 is charged from your balance.

Your dRPC balance#

  • What it pays for: plan payments, Pay as You Go usage and usage beyond your plan.
  • How to top up: by card (from $49) or crypto (from $10). The balance doesn't expire.
  • Alerts: we email you when the balance drops below $100 and $50. You can change the thresholds in Billing → Balance Alerts.

If your balance runs out#

  • If you still have CU left in your plan, requests continue as normal.
  • If the plan's CU are used up and the balance is empty, requests stop until you top up.
  • Paid accounts don't fall back to the Free plan.

If your renewal fails#

If there isn't enough balance on the 1st, your plan is suspended and you get a 3-day grace period. Top up within the grace period and the plan renews automatically. If you don't, the plan is cancelled and your account moves to Pay as You Go.

Cancel or change your plan#

  • Cancel anytime in Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the month and won't renew. Changed your mind? Resume it before the month ends at no extra cost.
  • After a plan ends, your account moves to Pay as You Go.
  • To switch between Pro and Scale, contact support.

Track your usage#

  • Plan pool and reset date: Billing → Usage & Savings.
  • Spending and payment history: Billing → Overview.
  • Usage by network and method: Stats.

Accounts created before October 20, 2026#

Nothing changes unless you buy a plan: your current terms and rate limits stay the same. Plans are optional. Buying a plan moves your account to the new billing permanently. When the plan ends, your account moves to Pay as You Go with a 100 RPS limit, not back to your current terms.

Enterprise#

Custom volume pricing, unlimited RPS, committed SLAs, SSO, dedicated clusters and dedicated support. Enterprise terms are set by contract, contact sales to discuss them.
